2016: A Year in Review

Take a look at our top 6 from 2016!

This year, Blue Door Consulting made many improvements and changes. Here are our top 6 from 2016:

New Faces

New faces at Blue Door Consulting

We expanded in a big way by hiring many new, talented faces.  We rounded out the end of 2016 by hiring both a graphic designer and a business operations manager.

New Building

Our new building space

Blue Door Consulting finalized plans this past year to move into a gorgeous new building. With more faces comes a need for more space, and we are very excited to move into our new office in spring of 2017!

Expansion of Video Services

You asked, we listened! With a growing demand for more video, Blue Door Consulting was happy to oblige and increased our focus on video in 2016 by bringing on a talented new videographer whose sole focus is video production.

Magento® Training

Magento Training

Training in Magento, a robust eCommerce platform, was the focus of many of our programmers in 2016.  Magento websites represent a fast-growing portion of our website development work.

Website Revamp

Our new website

In 2016, we revamped our website. The new website came as part of our rebranding, and the new site features major changes in terms of design.  Along with modernizing the site, we also featured a more extensive look into the services that we provide.

2016 Communicator Awards

Heidi handing out a Communicator Award

The Communicator Awards are an international awards program that honors successes in marketing.  Out of more than 6,000 entries, Blue Door Consulting was privileged to receive 8 awards in 2016. We received 2 Gold Awards of Excellence and 6 Silver Awards of Distinction in the areas of logo design, brochure design for print and video, branded materials and social campaigns.

That’s a wrap on 2016!  We cannot wait to see what the new year brings and we are excited to welcome what’s next!
