Central Street Carpentry is a locally owned carpentry business, seeking to expand its market share in the Oshkosh and Fox Valley region. Owner Mike Bober struggled to build his 11-year old carpentry business. While he had developed successful relationships with a variety of clients, referrals were slow and community awareness of his high quality work was low.
Blue Door Consulting developed a logo, tagline, Web site and direct mail campaign to position Central Street Carpentry as providers of quality craftsmanship at an affordable price. By emphasizing local ownership and telling Mike Bober’s story, values of trust and reliability were emphasized in all materials.
Since these initiatives began, Central Street Carpentry’s business doubled in the first year and the next. General awareness of his business, as measured by sales leads, has grown dramatically. Business is so strong that Mike hired an additional 1.5 FTE employees.
