Celebrate Good Times, C’mon

Blue Door Consulting Celebrates Five Years, New Offices

(OSHKOSH, Wis.) – Blue Door Consulting, an Oshkosh, Wis.-based full-service marketing firm, will celebrate its five-year business anniversary on Oct. 1, 2007.

The company was started in 2002 by Heidi Strand, who was joined by now co-owner Brenda Haines in 2004. Strand and Haines chose Oshkosh, Wis. as the company’s home due, in part, to the fast-growing, lucrative nature of the Fox Valley Region.

Blue Door Consulting assists businesses in the region and state by offering key services of strategic planning, branding, e-communications, marketing, media relations and technology integration. In total, BDC has served more than 100 companies since its inception in 2002.

‘We’ve grown so much in the last five years, and are glad to say that we are still going strong,’ said Strand, who named the business after her home’s blue door. ‘We hope to have continued success in 2008.’

Blue Door Consulting will also be moving from its current Washington Avenue location to a new office building on Nov. 1, 2007. Its new offices, located in a renovated fire house at 21 W. New York Ave., are currently owned and occupied by Terry Laib and his company, Laib Restoration

The company plans to commemorate these milestones with a celebration at its new location. The guest list includes more than 400 clients, community members, friends and family members, and will be held in February. Catering will be provided by Oshkosh-based Lara’s Tortilla Flats.
