Laura Benish

As the daughter of two writers, it’s no wonder that I love the art of communication. In elementary school, I helped create The Neighborhood News, a monthly newspaper that highlighted current news and events in our Oshkosh neighborhood. Although I was only trusted at first to write the Joke Corner, I have continued to strengthen my writing and marketing skills throughout the rest of my schooling.

I left Oshkosh to attend UW-Madison where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a certificate in Digital Studies. It was at college that I truly found my passion for marketing, strategy, and the use of analytics to bring a message together. After college, I spent several years working for Ford Motor Co. in their Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office, helping dealerships grow their businesses. As someone who initially knew very little about the automotive business, I enjoyed the challenge of learning a new industry to effectively strategize with dealers.

Now at Blue Door Consulting, I’m excited to work with a diverse client base and utilize my communication and analytical skillsets. In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball, running, listening to True Crime podcasts, and spending time with family and friends.
