Maggie Manley

I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Magazine Journalism from the University of Georgia. Shortly after graduation, I was accepted to the Teach for America program, so I moved to Birmingham, AL to begin my career as a high school English teacher. While teaching full-time, I earned my Master’s in Education from Samford University. After two years in Birmingham, I made my way back to the metro Atlanta area, where I continued teaching for an additional seven years.

Teaching was hugely rewarding and taught me tons about patience, empathy and hard work. As I transition to being a full-time content specialist, I hope to continue to use the skills that I learned and honed as a teacher: forming relationships with clients to identify strengths and areas of growth, set goals, measure progress and celebrate successes!

When not on the clock, you’ll find me cozied up on the couch with my husband and our two dogs, Herschel and Kirby, usually reading, playing video games or taking a nap.
