One of my most vivid memories from elementary school was attending a writing workshop in the fourth grade. It was in that moment that I knew writing, in some form, was what I wanted to do when I “grew up.” Fast forward to freshman year of college, where I started as a special education major, but was quickly reminded of my passion for writing through a creative writing class. I ended up earning my degree from University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, majoring in journalism with an emphasis in public relations.

After spending my college years wearing many hats in the world of writing (a sportswriter for the UWO student newspaper, columnist for the Post Crescent and blogger for the global fitness blog “The WOD Life Journal”), I started my professional journey in the corporate world. Social media quickly became my specialty as I spent three years managing social pages for popular household brands like Kleenex® tissues and Cottonelle® toilet paper.

I’m excited to not only bring my social media experience to Blue Door Consulting, but also be able to use my writing and communication skills through other various digital marketing platforms. I love helping others and am extremely excited to be able to help clients tell their story.

Outside of the Blue Doors, my world is my doggo, Bear, traveling and eating with my boyfriend, and CrossFitting as well as coaching CrossFit classes. I’m also currently pursuing my Masters of Public Administration. I love running around and being active, but usually by 8 p.m. I’m spent, and you can find me on the couch with one of my two main guys, Michal Scott or Guy Fieri.
