Nicole Bruene Vukelich

I’m grateful that I had the opportunity to begin my professional career as a reporter/anchor in TV news in Iowa and California because every day was a new adventure. I learned how to quickly process information and use the power of visuals and creative copy to tell an interesting short story, which continues to serve me well today. I spent the next 20 years climbing the corporate ladder in marketing and communications, including at some of the largest financial services companies in the U.S. and the world. I became an expert at understanding business needs and creating strategic solutions that drive engagement, influence perceptions, build advocacy and elicit behavior change to achieve results.

I earned a Master’s in Communications Leadership from Drake University and graduated summa cum laude from Wartburg College with a degree in Communication Arts/Electronic Media.

I live in a suburb of Des Moines, Iowa, with my husband and our beloved Labrador Retriever. We have three grown children and a son-in-law, and we love spending time with them and other family and friends.
