Growing up in a “tech friendly” household, I started programming on a TI 99 4A computer when I was six years old. It was a passion that stuck with me through college and grad school. In 1998, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a bachelor’s degree in management computer systems. In 2000 I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a master’s degree in computer science. Most of my professional work since then has been in creating and using rapid development tools for website application development.
A lot has changed in the world of website development over the past few decades, and staying on top of the latest technology has been a welcomed challenge. I love researching and implementing new techniques and tools. It’s one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.
When I’m away from the computer, my interests have taken me on a wide range of adventures: community theater, local government, photography and home brewing. Each activity presents its own challenges and opportunities to learn.
Seize the day. share the love.
