Achiever, Analytical, Learner, Input, Restorative

I’m constantly reminded why I chose a web development career: The ever-changing and complex challenges allow me to embrace my problem-solving, adaptable nature to bring beautiful, interactive designs to life.

Born and raised in the Ridgeland, MS area, I started out with basic HTML courses in high school. Afterwards, I enrolled at Mississippi State University, where I majored in software engineering. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I never finished my degree, but that wasn’t the end of my education.

When I was trying to get my first development job, I had no experience with the necessary programming languages and technologies. So, I taught myself. I proceeded to expand my knowledge, not only in those languages, but to encompass many other languages and frameworks as they were needed, whether it was for a pet project, a prospective job, or simply to help my brother with his classes.

At Blue Door Consulting, I’m excited to work with other amazing developers who enrich our clients’ online presence. Being part of a close-knit team who can bounce ideas off each other, cover any knowledge gaps and broaden each other’s horizons is priceless in this industry.

When off the clock, I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter and multitude of pets. My hobbies include video games, kayaking and cycling. I love crafting and am always playing around with some new crafting project. Recently, I’ve gotten into circuitry and IOT using Arduino/ESP devices, as well as 3d modeling and 3d printing.
