More About Gretel
My journey has taken me from being a dishwasher at my family’s restaurant, to grinding glass for surveying equipment, to attending Fox Valley Technical College and earning my Associate Degree in technical communications. Then, an elective class in HTML opened my eyes to a whole new career opportunity—web development—which led me to work for a small web development startup. All these turns and detours set me on the right path to becoming a technical support consultant for Blue Door Consulting.
I’ve always enjoyed helping people, problem solving and organizing—key aspects of success in this role. This new journey provides an opportunity to work with both external and internal clients to ensure our clients’ websites run at peak effectiveness. I also get to support our team’s technical needs, which is one of the best parts of this position.
Outside of Blue Door Consulting, I like reading, watching movies and learning about any topic that interests me in that moment. My husband and I also like to camp and cook new recipes together.
