More About Hannah

My earliest career aspirations were to become a foreign affairs reporter, design the magazines on grocery aisle endcaps or be the person in charge of naming nail polish colors. Parts of these aspirations remained true and authentic elements of who I am today: I never miss an episode of 60 Minutes, have an intense appreciation for art and aesthetics and would still love to name nail polish.

My undergraduate studies focused on public relations and sociology. I rounded out my education with a Master’s of Arts in Emerging Media. My thesis focused on the relationship between how content is framed, and the way we feel about and react to the information. As a marketing consultant, I find these concepts and relationships fascinating. Words are important!

A Deep South transplant to the San Francisco Bay Area, I live in Silicon Valley with my husband, daughter and two dogs. I love art museums, literary fiction, obscure documentaries, a fresh manicure (shocking!) and running. One of my life’s philosophies is to never do “the same thing forever,” and I’m energized by shifting perspective and stretching in a new direction. If you’re not growing, you’re dying, and I’m committed to thriving!

"Read, learn, work it up, go to the literature. Information is control." — Joan Didion, The Year of Magical Thinking
