Heather Zahner

Growing up, I had the unique opportunity to move frequently, living in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Central Wisconsin. This childhood experience sparked a lifelong love for learning about new people and places. I studied Business Administration and Personnel at Mid-State Technical College. With experience spanning human resources, payroll, accounting, leadership, and strategic planning, I have supported businesses across a wide variety of industries, including printing, photography, aviation, construction and marketing. Today, I serve Blue Door Consulting as a Human Resources Specialist. In the small business sector, I enjoy seeing how individual and team efforts directly drive company success. 

Outside of work, I love exploring outdoors. In the summer, I can be found paddle boarding or boating with my husband. My colder months are spent supper-clubbing and mastering cross-country skiing, alongside year-round hiking, camping, biking, and walking with my dogs, Katie and Willow. When I’m not enjoying nature or adventuring with my teenage children, I am likely at the game table, having recently fallen in love with Mahjong.
