More About Taylor
I graduated from Thomas Edison State University—a school in New Jersey that nobody in the Midwest has ever heard of—with a B.A. in Communications.
After graduation, I got a job at a small-town newspaper where I was the only reporter. That’s how small-town it was. I was covering two schools, town meetings, varsity sports, local events, anything and everything in between, and my absolute favorite—human interest stories. I loved asking people questions that drew out the most interesting details of their story. Then, turning our interview into a personal news story.
After my stint as a journalist, I started freelance writing for online businesses. That’s where I found my love of building relationships, listening to someone talk about their life, and writing stories merged right into marketing.
When I’m not working, I love hanging out on (and in!) the rivers surrounding me here in Missouri. Float trips are my favorite. Other than that, reading books and getting my hands dirty weeding my tomato plants keeps me happy.
