Now is the time to help these hybrid and remote employees feel valued and fulfilled, with 41 percent of the global workforce likely to consider leaving their current employer.

Let’s look at how to engage remote employees for a hybrid or remote workforce.

Tip #1: Conduct stay interviews.

Direct supervisors can have honest conversations with employees to identify concerns before they lead to larger problems. Earn the opportunity to correct a problem and find out what keeps an employee from taking another job.

Tip #2: Alter roles and job responsibilities.

Prevent burnout by mixing things up. Ask team members where they want to grow next and help them craft a pathway.

Tip #3: Provide support at all levels

“Provide mental health support, invest in leadership development and accept people as their authentic selves.”
