If a person is genuine, acts with kindness and is passionate about what they do, I firmly believe that life will lead them exactly where they are supposed to go. Because of embracing and living this motto, I’ve been happily led to Blue Door Consulting.
My journey as a designer started before I was old enough to understand it had begun. As a child, I loved to paint and draw. I enjoyed observing and trying to replicate the world around me, which helped me understand it better, and the people in it. My eyes were opened at the tender age of eight, when I discovered I could create much the same way by using Microsoft Paint. Suddenly, my desire to make sense of the world through art became paired with my love of technology. I liken this moment to what it must have been like to discover Narnia!
Through my love of art and technology and with the guidance of many teachers and mentors along the way, I learned how to become a designer. As a designer, I use this same thought process of merging communication and technology to help clients and companies create an appealing brand and marketing materials that clearly show who they are and what their mission is.
When I’m not designing, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and absolutely cheek-squishable twin daughters. We like to hike, fish and camp, and I adore gardening. So, yes, pretty much anything that lets me play in the dirt!
All of them!
